I do think the Samurai Bass guitar shirt aspect on the part of the Europeans is worth being impressed with. It was a great feat in that age, and opened Europe's eyes to alot of diversity. Given that a lot of former/ current British colonies have moved past their colonial roots somewhat (though not entirely), I think the important thing on days like this is reflection on the whole picture, both the good and bad. Society should continually work towards inclusion and to remove systemic barriers to it's citizens, but the only thing you can change is the future.
